Rob and Cindy Behnke founded Grant Kindness Foundation in 2023, 10 years after their firstborn son Grant died unexpectedly and tragically in surgery with a fatality rate less than 1%. They have turned their grief into joy, granting kindness to children every year on Grant’s birthday. Jesus has been their rock and salvation! Founding Grant Kindness has been their dream to bring others hope through sharing the Lord’s kindness and grace. They have 4 living children who are another kind part of the Lord’s story.  Spending time together as a family is their favorite pastime, and they can be often be found serving at their beloved church, cheering on the Dodgers or adventuring somewhere. Rob works in Christian education and Cindy loves being a mama while also serving adults with disabilities at another Christian non-profit.
